      All-On-4 Procedure Timeline

      The duration of the process typically ranges from 4 to 6 hours, depending on whether treatment is being done on one or both arches. Temporary bridges will be placed on the new implants immediately after the procedure and worn for approximately 4 months to facilitate proper healing and fusion with the bone. This healing phase is essential for achieving the optimal fit for your final bridges. Once the healing is finished, the production of your permanent bridges will commence. This will entail multiple appointments spread out over 5 to 6 weeks to create and personalize your desired smile.

      Mouth Impressions

      The impressions obtained in the laboratory are utilized to fabricate your temporary implant bridge(s). In cases where multiple teeth are missing in the same area, your dentist might suggest a wax try-in to evaluate your bite, appearance, and comfort prior to completing the temporary bridge.

      Procedure

      The process involves tooth extraction (if necessary), placing the implant, and fitting the interim implant bridge. Typically, this procedure takes between 4 and 7 hours to complete.

      Post Op #1

      Please ensure you monitor your healing progress closely after the procedure and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

      At your follow-up appointment around three weeks after the procedure, your sutures will be removed and your healing progress will be evaluated. At this point, most patients are usually cleared to begin using a water flosser or WaterPik for better oral hygiene.

      Impressions for final teeth

      These are typically taken around four months after the procedure.

      Try in

      After the impressions are taken, you will receive a wax mock-up of your final teeth within 5 to 10 days. Additional wax try-ins may be needed for your satisfaction. Please make any necessary adjustments during this stage, as changes cannot be made once the final bridges are made. Any modifications requested after approval and fabrication will result in a full-cost remake.

      Seat final teeth

      After the wax try-in(s) are approved, it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to fabricate and install your permanent bridge or bridges.
