Dr. Zainab Rauf

Dr. Zainab Rauf is a proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and is thrilled to embark on her journey as a dentist at Best Smiles, Glen Allen. She brings with her a warm smile, gentle care, and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their dental health. Dr. Rauf believes every visit should feel like catching up with a friend—where your concerns are heard, your comfort is prioritized, and your smile leaves a little brighter than when you walked in.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Rauf’s creative side shines. She enjoys monochrome sketching, watercolor painting, and a variety of DIY projects, often bringing her love for design and detail into both her art and her dental work. Her passion for interior design keeps her inspired, while her talent for making delicious desserts is a sweet bonus for all. Dr. Rauf has actively participated in numerous Mission of Mercy (MOM) projects and free dental clinics across the country, providing essential dental care to underserved communities. Through these volunteer efforts, she has treated patients of all ages, addressing urgent needs and helping restore both oral health and confidence. Her involvement in these initiatives reflects her deep commitment to giving back, bridging gaps in access to care, and making a positive impact beyond the walls of her practice.
