      All-On-4 Procedure Timeline

      The entire process usually takes between 4 to 6 hours, depending on whether one or both arches (upper and lower) are being treated. Following the procedure, temporary bridges will be attached to the new implants. These temporary bridges are worn for approximately 4 months to allow for proper healing and integration of the implants with the bone. This healing period is crucial for ensuring the best fit for your final bridges. Once the healing process is finished, the fabrication of your permanent bridges will begin. This process involves several appointments over a period of 5 to 6 weeks to design and customize your perfect smile.

      Mouth Impressions

      The impressions taken in the lab are used to create your temporary implant bridge(s). If you are missing many teeth in the treated arch, your doctor may recommend a wax try-in. This model allows for assessment of your bite, appearance, and fit before the finalization of the temporary bridge.

      Procedure

      The procedure includes tooth extraction (if needed), implant placement, and fitting of interim implant bridge(s). This process usually lasts between 4 and 7 hours.

      Post Op #1

      Monitor your healing progress closely after following the procedure and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

      Post Op #2

      During your follow-up appointment approximately three weeks after the procedure, your sutures will be taken out and your healing will be assessed. Most patients are typically given the green light to start using a water flosser or WaterPik for improved oral hygiene at this time.

      Impressions for final teeth

      These are typically taken around four months after the procedure.

      Try in

      You will receive a wax mock-up of your final teeth within 5 to 10 days after taking the impressions. Additional wax try-ins may be needed to ensure your satisfaction. Please make all necessary adjustments during this stage, as changes cannot be made once the final bridges are fabricated. Any modifications requested after approval and fabrication will incur a full-cost remake.

      Seat final teeth

      Once the wax try-in(s) are approved, it typically takes 4 to 6 weeks to create and place your permanent bridge or bridges.
